Free Tours of Ethnic Grocery Stores this Saturday!

So both Donnie and I have mentioned this before on our respective facebooks/twitters, but I just wanted to post a quick reminder… This Saturday Slow Food Buffalo Niagara will be offering free tours of local ethnic grocery stores around the city. Many people do not realize the number of quality stores and markets that our city has that offer more culturally diverse and ethnic food items. While you may have ventured into the International Food aisles at Wegmans, these stores offer MUCH more authentic and diverse food items that will really spice up your dinner table. If you are nervous to enter some of these stores alone (it’s OK, many people feel that way, I did a few years ago), this is the perfect opportunity to go with a group of people who are as curious as you are and have a guide show you around. Check out their page for more information and happy shopping!
