This Wednesday (August 21st) from 5pm to 9pm, 15 food trucks from Buffalo and Rochester will be parked at the Buffalo Historical Society for the latest Food Truck Rodeo. This is the first Food Truck Rodeo to feature our friends from the 585 as Le Petit Poutine, Brick-N-Motor and Marty’s Meats will be serving up their signature dishes. Le Petit Poutine specializes in the classic Canadian dish, prepared with fresh cut fries, cheese curds and gravy. Brick-N-Motor prepares dishes that rotate with the season, you can find anything from fresh made pasta, lobster rolls or crack cookies. Marty’s Meats is all about the protein; their menu is filled with various sandwiches featuring pulled pork, smoked turkey and more.
In addition, two of Buffalo’s newest food trucks will also be making their debuts to the summer Food Rodeo series; Greek on the Street and J & L Boulevard BBQ. Greek on the Street has been part of the Buffalo scene for almost a month now, being the the first truck to deliver classic Greek dishes to the food truck masses. J & L Boulevard BBQ is based out of their North Tonawanda restaurant and will be bringing another BBQ option to the event.
The other trucks in attendance: Lloyd Taco Trucks, Knight Slider, Black Market Food Truck, Frank’s Gourmet Hot Dogs, Thai Me Up, Hot Off the Press, House of Munch, R&R BBQ, The Sweet Hearth and Roaming Buffalo. Music will be provided by DJ Cutler and local craft beer and cider will be served, courtesy of a beer permit through Fat Bob’s Smokehouse.
The Food Truck Rodeo series at the Buffalo Historical Society is put together by Pete Cimino from Lloyd Taco Trucks. As with previous rodeos, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Buffalo Historical Society. We strongly suggest you make the drive to the Historical Society and check out some of your favorite food trucks or maybe try someone new, we strongly suggest stopping by Brick-N-Motor but we might be a little biased.
Side Note: This Tuesday at Larkin, there will be some Rochester Food Truck love as well. Brick-N-Motor and Macarollin‘ will be following up last weeks appearances and Hello Arepa will be making their first Buffalo trip.
